Dr.
Zachary is president of Leadership Development Services, LLC. She
is an internationally recognized expert in mentoring and leadership.
Multinationals, Fortune 100 companies, national associations, nonprofit
organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies
use her models and approaches to raise the bar on personal and
organizational leadership performance.
Zachary is author of The Mentor’s Guide (Jossey-Bass,
2000), a best-selling book that has become the primary resource
for organizations interested in promoting mentoring for leadership
and learning. Her latest book, Creating a Mentoring Culture:
The Organization’s Guide, provides a comprehensive resource
for promoting organizational mentoring sustainability.

She has published extensively on the on the topics mentoring,
leadership and board development, staff development, consulting
and adult development and learning. She co-edited The Adult
Educator as Consultant (Jossey-Bass, 1993) and co-authored Creating
and Sustaining Collaborative Partnerships (2002).
Zachary received her doctorate in Adult and Continuing Education
from Columbia University. She holds a Master of Arts degree from
Columbia University and a Master of Science degree in Education
from Southern Illinois University. She served on the faculties
of several colleges and universities and frequently guest lectures
around the country.
She is the immediate past chair of the Phoenix Athena PowerLink
Governing Board, a program sponsored by the Phoenix Chamber of
Commerce, that helps women-owned businesses expand profitably and
success. She currently sits on the Advisory Board of the School
of Global Management & Leadership of Arizona State University
and holds leadership positions in other community and national
organizations. |

Lory A. Fischler

Speaker Introduction for Lory A. Fischler
Prior
to joining Leadership Development Services, LLC as Senior Associate
in 2001, Ms. Fischler was principal of Team Training Consultants. An
award winning workshop leader and training facilitator, she has
been training and consulting for 25 years and was the first recipient
of the Motorola University West's Instructor of the Year Award.
Her areas of expertise include teamwork, effective meetings, conflict
management, communication skills, negotiation, decision-making,
presentation skills, and facilitation. Fischler specializes in
leadership development for health care leaders and has extensive
experience working with high tech manufacturing companies.
Her six years experience as Assistant Director of the Arizona
Poison and Drug Information Center at the University of Arizona
Heath Sciences Center provides substantial grounding for her current
coaching and consulting work with hospitals, medical practices,
medical staff leaders and hospital administrators.
Fischler created Leadership Development Services’ unique Effective
Meeting Model© and the support training materials widely
used by clients to improve the quality and efficiency of their
meetings. Her Workstyle Inventory Instrument promotes
self understanding and team interaction.
She co-authored with Dr. Lois Zachary, Creating and Sustaining
Collaborative Partnerships (2002). Her curriculum, Negotiation:
Achieving a Win-Win Result has been adopted by Motorola
for its North American facilities.
She graduated from Lake Erie College and studied at the University
of Grenoble. She pursued post graduate work in counseling at both
Boston University and Boston State University. Fischler is an annual
guest lecturer at the Arizona State University School of
Business.
Ms. Fischler is an active community volunteer, having served in
major leadership positions. She has spearheaded major fund raising
drives and strategic planning initiatives. |

Eric
Ng
Mr. Eric Ng, is the President & CEO of ESSN International
Pte Ltd and serves as Leadership Development Services, LLC’s
representative in the Asia Pacific. He specializes in enabling
professionals with critical life skills in learning, thinking and
performing. Eric is a Certified Master Trainer for the Positive
Power and Influence®, Negotiation Strategy and Tactics™,
Project Management: Tools, Principles and Practices ® and Hermann
Brain Dominance Instrument®.
Eric has more than 25 years of working experience and has customers
in the Government, Construction, Banking/Finance, Pharmaceutical,
Telecommunications, IT, Retail, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Technology,
Service, Transportation, Chemicals and Oil/Gas industries.
His belief in being a student for life has enabled him to achieve
postgraduate qualifications in Computer Science and also an MBA
in Strategic Marketing with practical application in Training and
Development.
He participates in Triathlon, Marathon and Ironman races. He enjoys
traveling, fishing and spending time with his wife and two children. |
