Dr. Lois J. Zachary | President of Leadership Development Services, LLC
- Zachary received her doctorate in Adult and Continuing Education from Columbia University. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University and a Master of Science degree in Education from Southern Illinois University.
- Zachary is an internationally recognized expert in mentoring and leadership. Multinational companies, national associations, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies use her models and approaches to improve personal and organizational leadership performance. She has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Thought Leaders on Leadership - The Excellence 100.
- Dr Zachary is the author of three best selling books on mentoring: The Mentor’s Guide, Creating a Mentoring Culture and most recently, The Mentees Guide. Each book provides step-by-step tools and processes that guide organizations and individuals through the entire mentoring process. In addition, Zachary has co-edited The Adult Educator as Consultant and co-authored Creating and Sustaining Collaborative Partnerships and a special issue of Adult Learning focusing on mentoring.
- She is a founding member and past chair of the Phoenix Athena PowerLink™ Governing Board, a program sponsored by the Phoenix, Arizona Chamber of Commerce, which helps women-owned businesses expand profitably through the use of mentoring advisory panels. Zachary is a member of Charter One Hundred, an organization that recognizes women of achievement who make significant contributions to the community; and has held leadership positions on many community and national boards including the Mentor National Team of the Chicago Public Schools, and the Advisory Council of Arizona State’s University School of Global Management and Leadership.
